Introducing Digitweaks Sounds: Your Audio Library Inside Premiere Pro

Digitweaks Sounds

Finding the right sound can interrupt an otherwise smooth edit. You know it is somewhere in your library, but getting to it means opening folders, trying files and switching away from your timeline.

We built Digitweaks Sounds to make that part of our own workflow simpler, and we are now sharing it with other editors. It is an audio library panel for Adobe Premiere Pro that lets you search, preview and organise your existing sounds right inside your editing workspace.

YOUR SOUNDS, WHERE YOU KEEP THEM

Connect your sound folders and browse them from the panel. Your audio files stay exactly where they are, with no need to move or duplicate them. Search by filename or folder path, and add your own tags and descriptions to make useful sounds easier to find again.

PREVIEW BEFORE YOU USE

Preview MP3 and WAV files directly in the panel, see their waveforms and click anywhere on a waveform to seek. Keep frequently used sounds in your favourites and back up your catalogue.

You can also export favourites as JSON to share with your AI agent. This release includes an experimental option to add a sound to a specific empty audio track in your timeline.

A SMALL TOOL FROM OUR OWN WORKFLOW

Digitweaks Sounds started as a practical solution to a daily editing problem. There is no subscription and no activation key. It is available on a pay-what-you-want basis, with a suggested contribution of €15.

BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD

The panel requires Adobe Premiere Pro 25.6 or later. It has been tested on macOS with Premiere Pro 2025 and 2026; Windows has not yet been tested. Sound effects are not included, so you will need your own audio library.

This is a small independent project, shared as it stands, with no guaranteed update schedule or dedicated support service.
